Let Go of What I Cannot Control. My decisions are important.
95% of things in life are out of my control. I cannot control other people or what they think about me. I cannot control the government or the world. I cannot control the weather, gravity, or nature.
I cannot control everyone and everything. I cannot solve every problem of my life. I cannot make everything good, happy, and peaceful. I am not God. I am only a human being.
I can't do anything perfectly. No one does anything perfectly. Perfection and perfect people don't exist.
No one knows the future. No one can perfectly predict tomorrow. Yeah that's right. You may have a schedule or a plan for tomorrow. You know some things that will happen. But you don't know everything that will happen tomorrow. The same applies to me. You don't know exactly how many people, how many of each model of car, how many of each color of car, or how many of each animal you will see tomorrow. There could be someone holding a basketball tomorrow. There could not. You may see a car accident, you may not. People cancel plans or events last minute all the time. Random, unexpected things happen all the time every day all over the world.
Life is filled with uncertainty. Accept uncertainty.
I have to let go of what I cannot control. 95% of things in life are out of my control. I can't keep worrying about the things I can't change. That is insanity. It is a pointless, useless battle.
I am myself. I am living my life. No one else's. I can only focus on my life and my problems that I can solve. The 5% of things in life that are in my control, I have to pay attention. My choices and my decisions made from those choices are important. I control my decisions.
