It is Important to Get Help. You Need to Get Help.
There is no shame in getting help. There is a ton of shame in self-destruction and refusing to admit you have a problem. There is a lot of shame in continually ruining your life and making everyone in your life miserable.
If you are sick, something is wrong with your body, then you need to see a doctor. If it is serious and your life and body are in danger, you have to see a doctor.
If you are mentally ill, something is wrong with your brain, then you need to see a therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist. You need to get help. You can ask your primary doctor and ask them what you should do.
You also need to sleep at least 8 hours every day. You need to go outside. You need to exercise frequently every week. You need community. You need to see and talk to other human beings. You need to see other human beings in person, face to face, with your own eyes.
You can't stay inside your home all day. You can't be afraid of the outside world. You can't stay inside your home all day worrying endlessly about everything, afraid of everything, overthinking everything, doubting everything. Spending the entire day doing nothing but worrying, being afraid, and spending all your time with your thoughts. That is what I did the first 2 years of living in Atlanta, and that is one of the many things that made me severely mentally ill, insane.
You can't solve serious problems entirely on your own.
You can't pretend they don't exist.
You can't think that you can just ignore serious problems and not confront and treat them.
No.
You have to do something to get better.
When you have a serious problem, you have to face it immediately, get help, and solve it. Or treat the problem.
There is no cure for most things. But there is treatment. Treatment is important and necessary. Treatment will help you greatly.
When something is seriously wrong with your body or your brain, your life is in serious danger, you are overwhelmed and don't know what to do, your life is getting ruined, you are falling apart, you need to get help. If your mental, physical, or financial stability is falling apart and unstable, then you need to get help.
