After Darkest Night Comes Brightest Light
Many times for many years, I believed I was trapped and hopeless. My life is cursed and hopeless. My life will always be depression, sadness, misery, suffering, insanity, mental illness, and pain. Nothing will change. I want to die. I want to give up on life. That is what I believed for many years.
Since July 10, 2026, I decided to change myself for the better.
No excuses.
Don't allow hatred, worry, fear, anger, sadness, and hopelessness to control my mind and my life anymore.
Change myself for the better and create a better life, or die trying.
I wanted to become the change I want to see in the world. To become the person I needed when I was younger.
Hope is a choice. Happiness is largely a choice.
I can choose to believe my life is cursed and hopeless. I can choose to give up on life and kill myself. What's the point? If I believe my life is worthless, meaningless, and pointless, why live?
Or I can choose to keep living and going. I can choose to believe in hope. There is still hope for myself and other people. My life has value. Everyone's life has value. A human being's life is valuable, precious, meaningful, and important. Something good can happen in the future.
Hope is not being delusional and living in fantasies in the mind. It is not ignoring, accepting, or condoning evil, terrible people, and horrible things.
Hope is believing there is light despite all the darkness. It is believing that something valuable and beautiful can come after brokenness.
It is like kintsugi, the Japanese pottery technique of repairing broken pottery with gold dust. The damage is obvious for everyone to see. But this pottery is still useful again after brokenness.
In the mud is where the lotus flower grows.
Life is a wilted flower.
In our entire lives. We have seen the darkness of the night. There are worries, fear, danger, violence, uncertainty, the unknown, and unpredictable things because of darkness. The sun comes the next morning, and it shines with undeniable, powerful, blinding light. The sun appears to give humanity and all living things its light and warmth.
It cannot always be darkness.
After the darkest night comes the brightest light.
